Production Test Fixture

Design and build of automobile heater control production test fixture.

Description

Holding fixture with manually actuated connectors. Connector nests held spring-loaded plungers that made a total of 84 individual electrical connections. Custom circuit board was designed and built to create special circuitry. This was to perform function checks and mimic feedback from sensors throughout the automobile. Fixture was set on specially built ESD height adjustable base. Custom machine design for this fixture was completed in SolidWorks.
